January 18th, 2021
Dear NAAMANJ members, friends, community and our guests to our website:
This has been the most challenging times related to the ongoing pandemic, regardless of practice type, isolated from family, trying to carry on traditions in new ways and, for many, dealing with the financial burden the pandemic has brought to bear. The support for each other has made a significant positive impact on the ability to be more resilient in the face of incredible uncertainty and change. NAAMANJ has remained committed to providing our members with support and service in every possible way.
As we move into the 2021 year, as healthcare professionals, we must continue to play our role as healthcare ambassadors advocating for the disadvantaged and for all community members.
I am excited to be serving as the President of the Board of National Arab American Medical Association – NJ Chapter and ready to build on the successes we have already achieved.
After spending my lifetime in charitable efforts, I feel especially privileged to be writing this message as President of the Board of National Arab American Medical Association – NJ Chapter “NAAMANJ”. This is a special time in this foundation’s history as we celebrate our successes and challenges over the years. NAAMANJ began its journey in 1990 and has spent those years to build and expand our organization. NAAMANJ has now become an integral part in and helping support the health of our community. Our community has benefitted from our yearly events that are sponsored by NAAMANJ. I look forward to working with all NAAMANJ members on continuing those events that benefit our community as whole.
Looking forward, we are focused on accelerating our growth strategy while continuing to build on the strength of our brand. We are excited about expansion plans for our current programs, expansion of our Educational Scholarship Grant Program Project model beyond our West Bank and Gaza region and NAAMA NextGen NJ, as well as adding new concepts to our current programs that will increase youth participation and education services which is geared towards enhancing the careers of young undergrad and graduate innovators/students in their 20’s empowering them to play a key role in healthcare advocacy and community service.
I am incredibly grateful to be associated with the National Arab American Medical Association – NJ Chapter and honored to be chosen to lead 2021 journey for NAAMANJ.
Stay safe. Stay well. Stay the course. Never give up. Join NAAMANJ with confidence. I will be in touch again soon.
Warm regards,
